Beacon of the Brine - Updated
A shipwreck, a haunted lighthouse, an abandoned farmstead, and a Bullywug warlord guarding the shore. Beacon of the Brine gets a full revision with updated maps, characters, and monsters plus a full PDF download!
Somewhere along the stretch of coast where the cliffs of the Shattered Coast give way to the frog-choked shallows of Wanderlust Plains, a beacon still burns through the fog. It's kept lit by a captain who never made it home. It's also the last light your party is going to see before their ship goes under.
Beacon of the Brine: The Lighthouse Keeper's Tale was one of our earliest Homebrew Adventures, and it's still one of our favorites. We went back in and gave it a real pass: tighter prose, sharper pacing, and a full PDF book we now build every module in. Same shipwreck. Same ghost. Same Bullywug warlord guarding the shore. Just built to run cleaner at your table.
What's Waiting on the Coast
Your party's ship goes down in a storm that won't quit. They wash up near a lighthouse that's seen better centuries, and that's where they meet Captain Greyfish: a spirit bound to his post by a grief he never got to bury. He knows exactly what's hunting this coastline, and exactly what he needs from your party before he can finally rest.
Across the channel waits Grolak the Hoarder, a Bullywug chieftain who's built a throne out of scavenged shipwrecks and doesn't share his shore with anyone. Beyond him, an abandoned farm where the scarecrows have very strong opinions about trespassers.
Whether you drop your party in chasing rumored treasure, a benefactor's coin, or nowhere left to run, this one plays as a tight 3-5 session build for characters level 3 through 5. A ghost story, a coastal siege, and a farm full of things that shouldn't move. All in one adventure.

Why We Revisited This One
Most homebrew content gets written to be admired once and shelved. We'd rather you run it. This revision keeps every encounter, every NPC, and every stat block exactly as we originally wrote them. What changed is how it reads and how it's packaged, so you can open the PDF at 9pm the night before your session and be ready to go.
