The young, worried face behind Greenbranch's own Militia Post counter, Denn Colter hands out honest maps, keeps the missing-persons list current, and quietly doubts his commander more than he'd ever admit.
Introduction
Not every defender of Greenbranch wears a Marshal's insignia or commands a garrison. Some just show up every morning to a small stone-and-wood building near the market square, unlock the door, and stand behind the counter — ready to hand a nervous traveler a free map, log another missing-livestock report, and try not to let his face show exactly how thin the village's protection really is right now. Denn Colter has staffed Greenbranch's own Militia Post since the gnoll raids started, and he is, by his own admission, exactly as worried as he looks.

Appearance: Denn is young for the responsibility he's carrying, somewhere in his early twenties, with a lean farmhand's build not yet filled out into a soldier's. He wears a patched leather gambeson over homespun, with a small round shield painted with Greenbranch's oak-leaf sigil slung on his back and a spear that's clearly seen more practice drills than real fights. His face is honest and a little too easy to read — worry sits on it plainly, especially when he thinks no one's watching. A battered signal horn hangs at his hip, more reassurance than weapon.
