Mount Vendetta hasn't erupted in living memory the way it's about to.

Beneath its slopes, an ancient pact called the Threefold Ward has kept Emberfall's volcano in check for generations, guiding its fury instead of fighting it. That pact is breaking. Names are burning out of a living archive in the misty sanctuary of Emberveil. The Wells of Memory boil red at the Emberflow Springs. The tidepools of Kindlestrand Shore sing warnings nobody wants to hear. And beneath it all, something is waking up.

Its name is Vaulkris the Cinder-Waking, and it doesn't want to be guided anymore. It wants release.

Embers Before the End is one of our biggest full-length Homebrew Adventures, complete with: read-aloud boxes, guardian stat blocks, region maps, and a 6-act structure ready to run.

What's Waiting in Emberfall

Your party has 5 days. 5 days to track down 3 lost relics, the Ashen Crown, the Tideflame Conch, and the Steamglass Eye, each one sealed behind a guardian who won't just hand it over. Each guardian asks the same real question: do you mean to carry fire, or command it?

Every guardian in this adventure can be fought. Every guardian can also be understood. That choice runs all the way to the climax at the Crucible Altar, where Vaulkris rises from the central vent and the party decides whether Emberfall survives by destroying the threat, or by binding it and living with what that costs.
