Garland Ninebells - Festival Steward of Lyreleaf
Whenever a rare bloom opens or an alchemist perfects a new potion, Lyreleaf celebrates within a day -- because gnome shopkeeper Garland Ninebells already has the lanterns, ribbon, and favors ready to go.
Introduction
Lyreleaf doesn't wait for a calendar to tell it when to celebrate. A rare bloom opens a season early in someone's garden plot, or an alchemist finally perfects a tincture they've been fussing over for a year, and within a day the commons is strung with lanterns and the smell of griddle cakes replaces the smell of crushed herbs. None of that happens by accident. It happens because a gnome with a shop full of ribbon, wax, and folded paper lanterns has already half-planned it before the good news even finishes spreading.

"A village that only marks its losses forgets to notice its blessings. I make sure Lyreleaf never forgets to notice the good ones."
Appearance: Garland is a small, energetic gnome with wild, curling hair perpetually decorated with whatever ribbon or dried flower she was working with last, and ink-and-wax-stained fingers from a lifetime of folding paper lanterns and sealing festival favors. She dresses in a patchwork vest sewn from leftover bunting fabric, cheerful and slightly mismatched, with a measuring cord and a small notebook always tucked into one pocket. Her shop smells permanently of beeswax, dried flowers, and the faint char of lantern oil, and she moves through it with the brisk, practiced efficiency of someone who has counted every ribbon spool in the building at least once a week for years.
