Nadarra Ashvow - Forge-Priest of Ash'rift
Ash'rift remembers its dead by name, cut into molten stone that glows for one night a year. Nadarra Ashvow is the forge-priest who cuts them -- and who refuses to carve a single name she cannot prove is the right one.
Introduction
One night each year, the ancestor tablets of Ash'rift come alive. Names cut into molten stone hold their glow from dusk until dawn, and the whole fortified settlement walks the rows in the falling ash to read them — grandparents, caravan drivers, smiths, warriors who never came back down out of the Sorrowfall Mountains. Ashwake is a night of light and remembrance, and it depends entirely on someone getting the names right. That job belongs to a brass-scaled dragonborn with slag-burned knuckles who will hold a family's grief at arm's length for an entire season rather than cut a name she isn't certain of.

Gender: Female
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Role/Class: Forge-Priest of Ash'rift, Keeper of the Ashwake Tablets

"A wrong name burns just as bright as a right one. That is exactly why I will not cut it until I know."
Appearance: Nadarra is a broad-shouldered dragonborn woman with brass scales gone dull grey along her forearms and jaw, where decades of ash and forge-smoke have worked their way permanently under the edges. She wears a sleeveless coat of rune-etched plate cut short at the hip, the Ash'rift style, with the sleeves deliberately absent so nothing can catch fire while she works. A chisel-headed maul hangs at her back, its striking face worn to a soft curve. Her left eye is clouded a milky orange from a splash of slag she took years ago and never bothered to have mended, and she keeps a folded leather roll of letter-punches at her belt the way another priest might keep a holy symbol.
