Sandwatch's pumps, cisterns and channels run on the ears of one gnome. Tinsel Brasswhistle hears trouble in the water before any gauge does, decides who waits when there isn't enough, and quietly keeps a book of what every refusal cost.
Fennimore Quillgrit, Master of Sandwatch's gnome salvage archaeology guild, decides which expeditions chase the buried city of Veilwind and what becomes of every relic that returns. A meticulous keeper of the desert's secrets who counts every digger home.
