Skarra Cairnmark - Watcher of the Drift Grave
Every moon, the Goliath wanderer Skarra Cairnmark walks Emberstrand Cove's tideline to measure how far the burned Drift Grave has crept, and to turn back anyone who thinks they should go looking in it themselves.
Introduction
Emberstrand Cove is the one stretch of Emberfall's coast that keeps its temper, warm waves rolling in easy rhythm while the rest of the region hisses and cracks. Its calm has a cost: something out past the tideline doesn't hold still, and the people who live nearby have learned not to test it themselves. Once a month, under the full moon, a lone Goliath walks the crescent of dark red-gold sand with a long gaff over one shoulder and a knotted cord around her wrist, counting. Skarra Cairnmark isn't from the coast, and she isn't from anywhere nearby. She stayed because nobody else was keeping score.

Appearance: Skarra stands a head taller than most who cross her path, her grey-blue skin mottled like weathered stone and marked along the arms and collarbone with the pale ritual scarring her people carry as a record of trials survived. Her dark hair is braided tight and stiffened with salt, and a lifetime outdoors has left her hands thick-knuckled and sure. She wears layered, patched leathers built for exposure rather than looks, a cracked ram's horn slung at one hip, and carries a long ashwood gaff worn smooth from measuring more than fighting. She moves at an unhurried, mountain-bred pace that never seems to slow down for the sand.
