Teodra Graftvine - Firewine Vintner of Andisol
Emberfall's most famous export doesn't come from the ashfields. It comes from a rain-soaked jungle terrace in Andisol, where Teodra Graftvine reads Mount Vendetta's moods and decides, 3 or 4 times a season, exactly how much ash to let reach her embergrapes.
Introduction
Firewine is the one thing Emberfall makes that everybody outside Emberfall has heard of. It's bold, it's spiced, it carries a slow heat that sits in your chest long after the cup is empty, and it tastes faintly of smoke because the ground it grows in has been fed by ash for longer than anyone can count. What almost nobody outside the valley knows is that it doesn't come from the ashfields at all. It comes from a wet green hillside in Andisol's southwest, where the rain falls most days and the tree ferns grow taller than a house, and where a woman with cracked hands and a long pruning hook spends her whole life deciding exactly how much of the mountain to let in.

Role/Class: Embergrape Vintner of Andisol

"The mountain sets the vintage. All I do is decide when to get out of its way."
Appearance: Teodra is a broad-shouldered woman in her fifties, built by 30 years of hauling baskets up wet stone steps. Her forearms are lined with thin white scars from grafting knives and blaze ivy, her nails are permanently stained the deep purple-black of embergrape skin, and her hair is cropped short and shoved under a wide woven hat that's gone soft and shapeless from rain. She wears waxed canvas over worn leather, sleeves rolled past the elbow, with a bandolier of small knives, waxed thread, and wound-wax slung across her chest. A long-handled pruning hook rides on her shoulder the way other people carry a walking stick. She smells of wet earth, crushed fruit, and faintly of smoke, and there is always, always mud on her boots.
