Osric Slowhand - Cinder-Wasp Keeper of Andisol

Andisol lives on fruit and flowers, and something has to carry the pollen. Osric Slowhand keeps the cinder wasps: not tamed, not owned, just tolerated by mutual agreement. A patient, sting-scarred guide who can walk you past a nest, and who knows the orchards have started changing.

Rhosyn Steepwater - Botanical Dyer of Andisol

Andisol's fireglass and firecloth get the attention, but it is Rhosyn Steepwater's dye yard that gives them their colour - a half-elf who coaxes blood-orange out of ash-fed blooms, and who has spent years chasing one red she made once and has never matched since.

Wisla Warmfurrow - Steamwright of Andisol

Andisol's glasshouses grow what the jungle won't, and they do it because Wisla Warmfurrow spent 40 years burying pipe. The gnome steamwright's real trade isn't making Andisol hot. It's making it steady, one valve and one seedbed at a time.

Teodra Graftvine - Firewine Vintner of Andisol

Emberfall's most famous export doesn't come from the ashfields. It comes from a rain-soaked jungle terrace in Andisol, where Teodra Graftvine reads Mount Vendetta's moods and decides, 3 or 4 times a season, exactly how much ash to let reach her embergrapes.

Nimriel Highfern - Canopy Plant-Hunter of Andisol

Eighty feet above Andisol's jungle floor, elf plant-hunter Nimriel Highfern rigs her lines into the tree-fern crowns for the orchids, resins and cuttings no ladder can reach - and brings them down alive, leaving the parent plant standing.

Sigra Truecut - Keeper of Ash'rift's Forge-Records

In a settlement that measures worth by what you've done, dwarf archivist Sigra Truecut keeps Ash'rift's oldest forge-records by cutting every tablet herself. She'll tell you exactly what the stone says about the Ashen Crown, and exactly where the stone goes quiet.

Zerai Slagwright - Obsidian Carver of Ash'rift

Ash'rift's ancestor tablets are inscribed by a priest, but they are poured, ground and made by Zerai Slagwright. The tiefling carver behind the settlement's obsidian and slagglass has put a keepsake in almost every grieving household in town.

Zurek Grale - Caravan Master of Ash'rift

Ash'rift sends out few caravans, and every one of them comes home. Zurek Grale is the half-orc road-master who makes that true -- hauling steel and slagglass out across the Ashen Plains, and water, timber and grain back in, past every mirage the fissures can offer him.

Ushka Slagmend - Forge-Warden of Ash'rift

At the farthest ritual forge-camp on the upper Ashen Plains, orc forge-warden Ushka Slagmend keeps the last fire between Ash'rift and the grey - mending caravan steel, feeding strangers, and judging everyone by what they carry back through the ash.

Nadarra Ashvow - Forge-Priest of Ash'rift

Ash'rift remembers its dead by name, cut into molten stone that glows for one night a year. Nadarra Ashvow is the forge-priest who cuts them -- and who refuses to carve a single name she cannot prove is the right one.

Nib Glasswick - Glassblower of Lyreleaf

No potion or salve leaves Lyreleaf without passing through Nib Glasswick's kiln first -- the gnome glassblower whose vials and bottles quietly keep the village's famous alchemy intact all the way to market.

Fennig Barkhollow - Tanner of Lyreleaf

Every satchel, boot, and saddle in Lyreleaf passes through Fennig Barkhollow's tannery -- the gnome craftsman whose patient, oak-bark leather has outlasted three decades of travelers on the Saltspray Swamp road.
