Arrekk Thorntrail
He once burned villages for gold. Now he walks barefoot across the same ashes, seeking forgiveness from the wind.
Name: Arrekk Thorntrail
Race: Half-Orc
Class/Role: Ex-Mercenary / Pilgrim Warrior
Appearance: Arrekk is broad-shouldered and wiry, sun-darkened and dust-caked. His bare feet are cracked and calloused, his legs wrapped in linen against desert scalds. Once proud tusks are chipped, and ritual scars form spiraling brands across his arms and back β some self-inflicted, others not. He wears no armor, only a sun-bleached mantle and a wooden prayer necklace carved with orcish script. A curved greatsword, wrapped in cloth and peace-binding cord, hangs across his back β unused, but not forgotten.

Backstory
Born to a raider clan and raised in the crucible of mercenary life, Arrekk earned a name in blood: the Ash-Walker of Bal-Torun. Known for ruthlessness and strategic cunning, he carved a reputation feared across the Endless Expanse of Eldervast. But during a campaign in a holy land scorched by drought, something shattered β a child spared, a temple spared, a voice heard in the fire. Arrekk vanished from his company. Now, he walks the deserts alone, following no god and every omen, righting small wrongs and enduring penance beneath the merciless sun. Some believe he's cursed; others, blessed. He just calls it walking the fire backwards.
