Durnek Hollowfang
A reclusive lycanthrope who guards the last sacred grove in a dying forest—though each full moon, he loses a little more of himself to the beast within.
Name: Durnek Hollowfang
Race: Werebear (formerly Goliath)
Class/Role: Cursed Druidic Warden
Appearance: Towering even in humanoid form, Durnek’s body is a weathered monument of sinew and ritual scars, his granite-toned skin cracked with lichen and mossy growths. His eyes are sunken and amber-hued, flecked with crimson during times of rage. A bear-hide mantle clings to his shoulders, stitched with thorns and old bone fetishes. When transformed, he becomes a monstrous werebear with bark-tough fur and stone-like claws that hum faintly with druidic magic. His voice is gravel—deep and restrained.

Backstory
Once a stone-warden of the Verdant Sentinels, Durnek was tasked with protecting one of the Briarthorn Bluff’s last primal sanctums: Stormhaven. When the region came under siege from corrupted druids wielding blood magic, Durnek took on the mark of the Bear to defend it—only to discover it was a curse, not a blessing.
He won the battle, but each transformation since has stolen more of his mind. Now he lives deep in the ruins, warding it from trespassers, both to protect them… and to protect them from him. Durnek seeks a way to either contain the curse fully or pass on his guardianship before the beast takes over forever.
