Backstory
Esdara was born in the gutter alleys of Sapphire Cove, where she survived by ferrying knives and messages between smugglers, sailors, and slavers. At thirteen, she stowed away on a ghost-claimed ship and returned alone — with its helm in her hands and not a soul left aboard. Since then, she’s built a reputation as the captain of The Hollow Smile, a sleek, spell-bound sloop with a hull that vanishes under moonlight. Esdara has no allegiance to fleet or flag; she sells safe passage, stolen relics, and vengeance to the highest bidder — or to whoever amuses her more.
