Hale Barkwander - Expert Woodcarver
"Every branch has a use, if you’re willing to listen while you shape it."
Name: Hale Barkwander
Race: Human
Class/Role: Woodcarver
Appearance: Hale is a broad-chested man in his late 50s with crow’s feet from squinting at fine detail, and strong, calloused hands that are always flecked with wood shavings. He wears a heavy apron over simple homespun, and carries a pouch of carving tools worn smooth by time. His eyes are a pale green, and his voice is calm and earthy. His long gray hair is tied in a low knot behind his neck, and the smell of cedar seems to follow him everywhere.

Backstory
Hale has lived his entire life in the Wanderlust Plains, apprenticed to his grandmother—once a renowned wandmaker and wood-shaper of the old ways. After his grandmother lost her leg in a forest fire during his youth, he learned to craft prosthetics with the same reverence others gave to holy texts. His workshop, Wanderer’s Limb, creates canes, staffs, totems, and heirlooms—each imbued with his quiet care. He is especially sought out by wounded veterans and young druids looking for their first focus.
