Jorren Broadbeam - Expert Carpenter
Any fool can break a wall. Takes a craftsman to build one that holds through storm and sorrow.
Name: Jorren Broadbeam
Race: Human
Class/Role: Carpenter / Builder of Homes and Hope
Appearance: Jorren is broad-shouldered and sun-browned, with crow’s feet from squinting at skybeams and lumber stacks. His beard is thick but neat, peppered with sawdust as much as gray. His clothes are simple—heavy canvas and leather—but worn with pride. His calloused hands are always moving: measuring, sanding, mending, shaping. A braided leather wristband carved with tiny runes circles his right forearm—something he never takes off.

Backstory
Born in Broadshire, Jorren grew up hauling timbers and learning to square beams from his father, who rebuilt the town three times over during bandit raids, fires, and floods. Jorren took the craft and made it his calling. His work isn’t just buildings—it’s legacy. From taverns to temples, many of Broadshire’s most important structures bear his hidden signature: a tiny carved tree hidden in the grain. He runs Broadbeam Timber & Joinery, trains local apprentices, and serves on the town council. If something needs fixing—physical or personal—Jorren’s who folks go to.
