Appearance: Kerrin is an imposing, hunched bugbear with smoky gray fur, a shredded left ear, and a jawline broken and re-healed too many times — giving him a permanent lopsided sneer. His amber eyes seem to glow faintly in low light, and his long limbs are always partially cloaked in thick, black leathers and a tattered oilskin cloak. He moves with eerie silence and mechanical precision, his boots padded and gear strapped flat. The only sound he makes is the quiet grind of the serrated chain wrapped around his left forearm.
Backstory
Raised in Duskhaven’s back alleys and gutter warrens, Kerrin was once part of a brutal street gang known as the Daggergut Sons, infamous for extortion and underground pit-fighting. He earned the nickname "Lockjaw" after surviving a jagged bear trap during a rival gang ambush — and biting through the throat of the one who set it.
Kerrin turned away from gang life after serving time in a magically warded prison run by a justice-for-hire syndicate. Upon release, he signed with that very same syndicate as a bounty hunter — not out of redemption, but for work that suited his skills and kept his hands busy. He now works the bounty circuit across Duskhaven and beyond, specializing in impossible captures and silent takedowns. Kerrin’s loyalty is to the contract, not the cause.
