Backstory
Born to a human noblewoman and a traveling elven scribe, Halva was abandoned to the temple of the Veiled Shepherd as a babe — a sacrifice of shame or piety, depending on who tells the tale. As she grew into her powers, Halva began ministering in battlefields and plague-touched villages, serving not only as a healer but a midwife for the soul. After an incident in Gloomshade where a cursed relic awakened a near-cataclysmic undead uprising, Halva was named Warden of the Final Vigil, tasked with keeping sacred relics of death magic from falling into mortal hands.
