The Lantern Seeker
They walk with no name, no voice, no face β but their lantern glows when destiny nears.
Name: The Lantern Seeker
Race: Unknown (Veiled)
Class/Role: Fatebound Seer / Wandering Oracle
Appearance: The Lantern Seeker is entirely veiled in layered desert robes, their silhouette indistinct beneath sun-bleached cloth and ceremonial wrappings. No skin is visible; only gloved hands and a steady, unhurried gait. A curved bronze lantern hangs from a chain at their side, its glass panes fogged and its flame perpetually unlit β except in moments of great consequence. The air around them feels hushed, as if sound itself holds its breath. Their height, gait, and even build seem to subtly shift depending on the viewerβs expectation.

Backstory
The Lantern Seeker appears only when needed β though by whose will, none can say. Rumored to have emerged from the Ruins of the Glass Comet or birthed from the First Mirage, this figure drifts across deserts, wastelands, and battlefields alike. They offer no name, no speech, only gestures and presence. Their lantern is a legend: it lights when a choice will change the world, however small. Some scholars claim the Seeker is a construct of destiny, others believe them to be an ancient being paying off a divine debt. Either way, their guidance is never free, and their destination is never known.
