Appearance: Tolliver is a compact firecracker of a gnome, with a halo of frizzy, copper-red hair springing out from beneath a magnifying visor perpetually perched on his brow. His cheeks are always smudged with soot or glittering residue, and his waistcoat is stained with alchemical burns and ink spills. Dozens of scroll tubes, trinkets, and vials jangle from belts and loops across his person. One of his eyes is a magical glass monocle that rotates mechanically, glowing faintly when he focuses.
Backstory
A guild-certified artisan from Sapphire Cove, Tolliver was once the rising star of the Arcano-Industrial Consortium—until a “portable warming sphere” prototype triggered a city-wide sewage fire. Now operating independently (and unofficially), Tolliver runs a bustling corner workshop called The Wandering Widget, known for selling enchanted odds and ends that mostly work as intended.
He’s ambitious, loves efficiency, and dreams of launching a magical mass-production model. But his latest batch of "personality-bound trinkets" seems to have developed unintended sentience—and he might need help putting that genie back in the bottle.
