Orange furnace-light paints everything in harsh gradients—pipes, ducts, tool benches, and stacked crates—while the air shimmers with mirage and drifting smoke. Every surface looks worked-to-death: riveted plates, worn catwalk planks, and scorched railings that frame the space like a cage built around a living fire.
At the heart of it all, a massive octagonal smelting pit roars like a contained sun, its glow bleeding into the surrounding platforms and crane runs. Narrow stairways and grated walkways stitch upper gantries to lower work lanes, creating layered sightlines and constant vertical pressure. It’s a place built for motion—hoists, rails, valves, and winches—where the environment feels as dangerous and temperamental as any enemy.
