Glowstone Lampworks
Glowstone Lampworks is a tight, industrial bridge-gallery stretched across a deep channel where heat and haze rise in slow waves.
The main span is boxed in by waist-high lamp pedestals—each crowned with warm, furnace-bright glowstone fixtures—casting hard pools of amber light across riveted decking and rail lines. Crates, lens frames, and scattered tools clutter the edges, while the air itself feels busy: smoke stains, drifting steam, and the constant tremor of machinery somewhere beneath the floor.
Above and below the bridge, secondary catwalks create a layered “cage” of steel stairs, platforms, and maintenance lanes that run parallel to the crossing. Hanging lens arrays and articulated fixtures suggest a place designed to shape light like a weapon—beams can be focused, redirected, or dimmed, and shadows shift unpredictably as vents sigh and fog rolls through. The smelting cut below remains the ever-present threat: a long drop into heat, fumes, and unforgiving depths, turning every shove and stumble into a potential finish.
Intended Use:
This map is built for high-pressure choke point encounters where control, positioning, and sightlines matter more than raw damage. The narrow bridge forces parties into tough decisions—advance into the light, fight for the high ground on the upper catwalk, or drop low to the maintenance lane for cover and flanks. With multiple elevation layers tied together by steep stairs and a single lift cage, it naturally supports ambushes, reinforcements, and multi-front skirmishes without needing extra rooms.
